Homecare Workers as Proxy Healthcare Professionals

Researchers at King’s College London would like to hear from managers of Care Quality Commission (CQC) registered care locations that provide homecare services (e.g., visiting homecare or live-in care) in England to older adults aged over 65. For more information on the study please see: https://www.kcl.ac.uk/research/homecare-workers-as-proxy-healthcare-professionals

Could you circulate to people/organisations that might be relevant?

By completing this survey, they/you can help us to better understand what and how healthcare activities (like wound care, or specialist medication administration) are delegated to care staff by regulated healthcare professionals like nurses and physiotherapists. We’re also interested to find out what existing policies or frameworks your organisation might be using to guide healthcare delegation in your service.
