CRN Improvement and Innovation Final Report + Appendices

The University of Birmingham, working in collaboration with Birmingham Voluntary Service Council (BVSC), has created the Birmingham & Solihull Community Hub for Involvement in Research Practice (CHIRP). This initiative addresses the challenge of engaging underserved communities and Voluntary, Charity, Faith, and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) sectors in research. The project, running from July 2023 to June 2024, aimed to improve community participation in research by coordinating co-design workshops, developing resources and fostering partnerships between researchers, community organisations, and local stakeholders. New and enhanced partnership links continue beyond the funded project lifetime.
