# Folic acid, bread and prostate cancer?

I had a conversation recently with a friend in Birmingham who asked whether I had heard of the recent attempt by the Government to add folic acid into our breads. He also suggested a link to prostate cancer. I was alarmed as a black person because I am aware of our risk position when it comes to prostate cancer. Can we embark on any research to find out a bit more about this in our communities in Birmingham?
